Out of season flowers can really blow the wedding budget and may not stand the test of time or climate on the day.

Make sure your wedding florist prepares your wedding flowers to maximise their longevity. Just because your might feel like falling in a heap at the end of your wedding doesn't mean your flowers should.


Co-ordinating your gorgeous bouquets with the wedding attire is easy. Wrap the stems of the wedding bouquets in matching fabrics to your wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses.

If your bridesmaid dresses are being made ask the dressmaker to set aside some off cuts of the fabric. Enough for your wedding florist to wrap the stems of the bouquets.

Arrange to have the bridal bouquets, corsages and button holes to be delivered to you one and a half to two hours before you leave - this way they look their best as you walk down the aisle and it allows the wedding photographer to take some pre-wedding pics.
